Our Deliveries
Maria Mwengere Senior Secondary School (July 2023)
Our second big delivery in 2023 would not have been possible without the help of the Parnwell family who were planning to visit Namibia in July. Angie Parnwell learned about BtSN projects from our social media platforms, and she contacted us with a generous offer. She and her family not only wanted to deliver a donation to one of the schools that we support in Kavango, but they also organized a private fundraising among friends and family to make their personal contribution to the school in need.
The Parnwell family learned from BtSN that adolescent girls in rural areas often miss school simply because they cannot afford sanitary supplies, and they decided to support the purchase of washable, reusable sanitary pads made by our local project partner Mayana Women Empowerment. The Parnwells collected uniforms and school materials from BtSN for Maria Mwengere SS School on their way from the airport through Windhoek. They arrived in Rundu on July 17th, and met with Marcus Kamburu, our Kavango Field Coordinator.
How happy we are to have been able to be one small part in the chain. We know it is just a drop in the ocean, but it is something… Thank you for your kindness and for helping us teach our own kids such important lessons - Andie Parnwell said to us after visiting Maria Mwengere School.
Thank you Dear Parnwell family, we are extremely touched by your open hearts!

Naiti Combined School (February 2023)
Our small charity Organization focuses on two Namibian regions: Kavango East and Kavango West, where the needs are endless, but sometimes we hear the voice of school communities from different regions of the country. Having heard some pleas for support from the Naiti Combined School (CS) in Omusati Region, we couldn't close our ears and had to start acting.
We organized an online fundraising pilot project in Poland to support the school. We raised sufficient funds to purchase new shoes, uniforms, stationery, sanitary pads, and much more for students of Naiti CS. With a fully-loaded car, we drove to Omusati, a new Region for us, on 6th February 2023. We received a very warm welcome from the local community and were assured that our efforts can make a difference in the lives of their learners!
